10 HR ColorWhile recovering from a labral tear of her hip which required extensive surgery to repair, Dr. Bell experienced the powerful healing benefits of laughter. Laughing freely, just for the health of it, reduced her experience of pain, anxiety and depression.  It helped her to improve her sleep and feel more optimistic during her extended rehabilitation process.

Dr. Bell studied the benefits of laughter and the techniques for using laughter as an exercise with Sarito Sun, the Laughologist for the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, CA.  She became a Certified Laughologist and Laughing Meditation Teacher. Now Dr. Bell shares the joy of laughter with her patients and their families for the many health benefits she has experienced:
