Does this sound like you or someone you know with dizziness, vertigo, imbalance or unexplained repeated falls?

You’ve hit a lot of dead ends but you haven’t given up.

One thing you’ve done right is to be persistent!

Most people give up because they don’t see a solution.

They can’t figure out the underlying root cause and can’t get anyone to spend enough time with them to determine the root cause.

I have built a safety net for that specific problem!

My Physical Therapy Team Leader and I are here to serve patients suffering with dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance of any age, and older adults with unexplained repeated falls.

We offer vertigo services at an office in Encinitas, as well as in the privacy of our patient’s home.

If I have learned anything by suffering with vertigo and dizziness intermittently since I was a child, it is that the current status of healthcare for people like me is not good enough.

So I have created our Specialty Consulting service to truly serve the unique needs of this special and growing population.

On average, a patient with vertigo sees 4-5 different physicians and spends $2,000 just to receive an adequate diagnosis. The impairment of daily activities, reduced work capacity, and increased burden on family members due to delays in care is devastating.

Our specialized care is for people ranging from a fresh case of vertigo, to a chronic, mysterious case lasting for 50+ years – and anywhere in between.

Are you sick of getting the runaround?

We help people who want to avoid the endless cycle of unsatisfactory appointments.

Our Initial Consultation includes:

  • A History Taking Phone Call to review the symptoms, history, and current complaints
  • An Initial Consultation that includes Physical Therapy Evaluation and initial Treatment (lasting 2 – 2.5 hours)
  • A follow up phone call to review progress, discuss the treatment plan, and answer any questions, as well as review any exercises and education provided (up to 30 minutes)

Additional follow-up visits with us are scheduled as needed, on a case-by-case basis. Most people see us for four to six visits per episode of vertigo.

Research is now showing that a comprehensive hands-on exam by a Clinical Expert in Vestibular Rehabilitation is superior to diagnostic testing in most cases.

Due to a lack of proper training for this type of specialized complex hands-on evaluation, many patients are being referred for unnecessary diagnostic tests, unhelpful therapies and suffering delays in care lasting months to years.

Our Specialty Private Patient Consultation Services are designed to rescue misdiagnosed and mismanaged patients with dizziness, vertigo, imbalance and unexplained repeated falls. We also see many patients with foot neuropathy, incontinence and headaches, and offer a unique approach to these problems.

The goal of our Initial Consultation is to determine the contributing factors of those uncomfortable symptoms and evaluate for the root cause.

The goal of our treatments is to reduce, if not completely eliminate, the uncomfortable symptoms and empower our patients with knowledge of self-care strategies to live a rich and active life.

We also educate and train family members and caregivers so they can skillfully help their loved ones.

We are here for you!
