In recovering from injuries from several accidents and a labral tear of my hip that required extensive surgery to repair, I found that traditional western medicine and standard physical therapy left me still in pain, walking only short distances, struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression and unable to function.

On my own journey of healing and recovery, I found a holistic healing approach very useful to complement the Western medical model to increase my overall joy, enthusiasm and passion for life.

Holistic healing considers the mind, body, spirit, values and lifestyle of the individual. I became curious and was inspired to study these systems since I had no prior exposure to these powerful techniques from my physical therapy education and years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.

I have discovered tools and strategies that make me feel empowered and enthusiastic about living my life, even though I suffer from frequent dizziness, symptoms of vertigo and loss of balance.

I still breathe, smile and enjoy my life because now I understand what is happening to me and I know what I can do about it. I am able to monitor my symptoms of dizziness and vertigo, take appropriate action and use my tools and strategies to make my life more enjoyable.

My comprehensive methodology, The Bell Method, is grounded solidly in the Western science-based Physical Therapy standard of care, advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation strategies and evidence-based Geriatric best practices.

Now I also integrate self-care concepts inspired by cultures around the globe into my unique approach to optimizing patient outcomes, in order to support my patients in restoring better balance to their system.
